We aren’t just drone enthusiast, but aviation enthusiasts with experience. Ryan, the owner, has eight years as an air traffic controller and worked briefly in the Alaska NORAD Region, serving the National Airspace System (NAS). He also holds a private pilot license in rotary-wing (helicopter) and the required remote pilot license to ensure your project is done within the law.
Our experience in drones began prior to DJI producing the Phantom, which became the popular image for all drones. Our first attempt to get a camera airborne required an octo-copter with a lot of power to get our heavy DLSR camera in the sky. Built by us with an airframe made in New Zealand, and a chipset from Germany, it did the job, at least until technology advanced. The technological advances have been incredible and love it or hate it, drones are the future.
We take the time necessary to understand your business objectives prior to launching any project. We understand that not all projects and properties are alike and that a cookie-cutter template won’t always work for you.
